Book Review

In the next installment of the Veronica Speedwell mysteries, Veronica is just as spunky as before. She and Stoker “race against time” to save an innocent man from execution.

The mystery had plenty of twists and turns keeping it interesting. I was able to figure out who had actually ‘done it’ until close to the end. Also, as the story unfolded we learned much more about Stokers background than in the first novel. Giving us a peek at why the man is the way he is.

There is alot more flirting with the attraction between Veronica and Stoker. HELLO sexual tension !

I need them to just BE together but I know Stoker needs to work through his past and it is probably going to take a few books before we really see him opening and acting on his feelings for Veronica.

A Perilous Undertaking was another overall great mystery.  I am really looking forward to more of Veronica and Stokers adventures in the future❤
