Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo Book Review (Spoiler Free)

Criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker has been offered wealth beyond his wildest dreams. But to claim it, he’ll have to pull off a seemingly impossible heist:

Break into the notorious Ice Court
(a military stronghold that has never been breached)

Retrieve a hostage
(who could unleash magical havoc on the world)

Survive long enough to collect his reward
(and spend it)

Kaz needs a crew desperate enough to take on this suicide mission and dangerous enough to get the job done – and he knows exactly who: six of the deadliest outcasts the city has to offer. Together, they just might be unstoppable – if they don’t kill each other first. ”

Book Review

Six of Crows is a story of 6 misfits who attempt an impossible heist. A story of pride, greed, freedom and revenge.  It had everything and left me still wanting more!!

Kaz – A ruthless and cunning bad boy that you can’t help but want. He has such high walls built up, and for a good reason, but is loyal where it counts.

Inej – The ‘wraith’ who hides in the shadows. I absolutely loved her! She never gave up hope no matter what horrible things she went through.

Jesper – The smart mouthed sharpshooter . I haven’t decided how I feel about him but he definatly grew on me by the end.

Wylan – The explosives handler. He was such a sweetie who just wanted to prove his worth.

Matthias – Where do I start?  He was such a conflicted character who battles between his mind (faith and pride) and his heart.

Nina – she might be my favorite character. She is sassy, won’t be pushed around and strongly loyal.

Six people but a thousand ways this insane plan could go wrong
