My Review

Kayla Sinclair is just the sweetest and I totally wish we were friends 😄 She had a rough life growing up being bounced from foster home to foster home, never having a family to call her own. As an adult she is an interior designer who spends her free time voluntering at the local animal shelter and soup kitchen. Kayla is a dog owner with a heart of gold who is just looking for her prince charming.

Logan Knight  “Detective godsend, mysterious, brooding. He’s every girl’s wet dream.” He also happens to be a wonderful father to his beautiful little girl Skyler. He has alot of demons from his past that still effect his day to day. Nightmares and PTSD cause him to keep his personal walls up high.

” Not many people in my life know what it’s like to risk their life for our country and to fight for their life every day overseas. Many people don’t know how close I was to losing everything.”

After a few passionate mind blowing kisses, Logan can no longer deny his feelings for Kayla. He can’t stomach her being with someone else and finally steps up. Their chemistry is explosive and they can’t get enough eachother. They start spending more and more time together and slowly start sharing bits and pieces of their past but not all of it.

Once again this checkmate novel ends in a cliffhanger that I completely did not see coming!!!

Excuse me while I go devour the next book !!!!!!
