Good Girl by Jana Aston _ Book Review

Amazon | Goodreads

I’ve always been a good girl.
I work hard, I follow the rules, and I always achieve my goals.

But sometimes good girls want things that aren’t good for them.
Or someone who isn’t good for them.
Like their new boss.

And sometimes they do very bad things to get his attention.
Like sell their virginity in an auction.

Who knew he’d be so very, very mad?
Maybe this was not my best laid plan

I recieved a digital arc of Good Girl from Jana Aston and @bookendtours for an honest review.

This book was a hot mess but in a good way. Lydia meets a guy at a bar and receives the kiss of all kisses from him. Turns out he’s a lot older than her and also a higher up at her new job. She decides the only way to get his attention is to auction off her virginity and it doesn’t turn out quite the way she expected.

Lydia is hands down the most awkward 22 year old character I have ever read. She is a girl trooper, thrift shopper, fast food eating virgin who is a lot sluttier in her mind than she actually is in real life. She has zero filter from her brain to her mouth and seriously in one scene I was felt her embarrassment and had to put the book down. Lydia has a best friend and roommate Peyton who is the ultimate friend #friendshipgoals ! One of my favorite parts of the book is the on going dirty girl trooper badges that Peyton creates for Lydia such as the bar badge, butt stuff badge and blow job badge lol

Rhsy Rhys Rhys, he is intense. He’s mature and knows what he wants from a woman, and that’s sex. He finds it’s easier to stick with tourists, strippers and sometimes even hookers to get what he needs. There is a lot of pressure on him for the Vegas hotels opening being successful, and he has no time for good girls and romance. Yet there’s just something about Lydia that he can’t resist, and he does his best avoiding her until she puts her up for auction, and he has no choice to but to accept it.

“I must be the sluttiest non-slut in the country. I’m a wannabe slut, which is just sorta sad, isn’t it?”

“she’s doing it for me right now with this PG-rated makeout session, so if she wants to play after-school special, I’m game. Besides, I’m far too curious to see where this goes.”

Good Girl was funny, awkward and sexy. Jana Aston is a new author for me and I will totally be checking out the next book when it comes out.
