Book Sacrifice Tag

I was tagged to do the Book Sacrifice Tag by the lovely Anne over at @glimoseofmybooks and it seemed like a fun one so here it goes …

1. A Least Favorite Book

51697516

Situation: Apparently global warming = suddenly frozen wasteland. Your only hope of survival for warmth is to burn a book, Which book will you not regret burning?

In this situation I would not for a second hesitate to burn The Last Star by Rick Yancy. It was the absolute most horrible trilogy ending I have ever read. Just no, there was so many things wrong with it I don’t know where to start.

2. An Over- Hyped Book

41hTJJQptHL._SX324_BO1,204,203,200_

Situation: You’re in a store when the zombie apocolypse hits. The military informs everyone that over-hyped books are the zombie’s only weakness. What book that everyone else says is amazing but you disliked so you start chucking it at the zombies?

13 Reasons Why . The book wasnt horrible but the ending and most of the actually reasoning in the book was stupid. I also think its not a good representation of depression, there are so many better ones out there that people shoukd be hyped about. I just honestly dont understand how so many people love this book, i cringe every time I see someone rave about it on instagram πŸ˜‘

3. A Sequel

31702811

Situation: A torrential downpour. What sequel are you willing to use as an unbrella to protect yourself?

I’m choosing Seeker for this becuase sometimes I like to pretend that it never happened. That Rider was its own fantastic stand alone that I loved and never even hsd a sequel 😊

4. A Classic

Gulliver_s-Travels-200x300

Situation: You’re in Enlgish class and your professor raves about aclasic that “transcends time”. If given the opportunity to travel back in time, which classic would you try to stop from ever being published?

This ones hard for me becuase I have enjoyed all the Classics I have read but I will go with Gullivers Travels becuase I remember struggling a bit with that one.
