Can the best of enemies become the hottest of lovers? New York Times bestselling author Aurora Rose Reynolds proves that opposites can be compatible—and twice as combustible…

Libby Reed is over it. Or that’s what she tells herself. She’s lusted after one of New York’s bravest for years, but firefighter Antonio Moretti has doused her interest for the last time. As much as she wants the arrogant jerk (in a bad, bad way), they can’t even be in the same room without setting each other off…which might be a problem now that she’s volunteered to help out in his family’s restaurant.

Antonio’s been burned before. Now he knows better than to trust a pretty face and follow another pair of long, beautiful legs into heartbreak. But while Libby might rub him the wrong way, he can’t deny the heat between them. And it only burns hotter when she steps up in his time of need. The closer they get, the more he realizes he may have misjudged her. Then again, he doesn’t know the secret Libby’s keeping that could send their relationship up in flames before it’s even begun.

[I recieved a digital ARC from Netgalley for an honest review]

I have always been a fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds, she has written some of my all time favorite romance books and Tossed into Love didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed all the books in the Fluke my Life series and even though technically you could read this one as a standalone, I feel like it wouldn’t be as special without reading the first two.

I have been anticipating Libby’s story since we first meet all three sisters. Libby is beautiful and loves being girly but there’s so much more to her than her designers clothes and handbags. She has the biggest heart and even before we get to her book we know she is feeling left out of her sisters lives when they used to be really close to one another. Libby is a hairstylist and makeup artist who has her own business on the side renting out wealthy peoples outfits making the glam life affordable for everyday girls. However, she’s coming to realize she doesn’t see her current work life keeping her happy in the long run. When the opportunity to help run the pizza shop whose owners have become a second family to her arises she gladly jumps at the opportunity. The only slight downside to the situation is Antonio, who she has secretly crushed on for forever and who can’t seem to stand the sight of her.

Antonio is a firefighter {I know hot damn 😍} his family owns a pizza shop, he’s Italian and damn sexy. Sorry I got excited there for a moment because he’s like perfect to me lol except for the jerk part but who am I kidding I love a meanie whose actually a sweetie. Anyways, Antonio got his heart stomped on by a materialistic skank and that stops him from wanting to get to know the real Libby behind the fancy clothes and high heels. When the two are forced into spending a lot of time together while she helps out at the pizzeria they can’t deny the chemistry between them.

God I love Alpha Males [sigh] the ones who stake their claim yet use endearments like ‘baby’. Aurora Rose Reynolds writes some of the best Alpha males and Antonio was one of them! Another one of the things I love about her writing is that her female characters are always so down to earth and usually love rockin’ sweats and eating junk food. Making them totally relatable. Lastly her sex scenes are hot and steamy and passionate. Her characters care deeply about each other and you can feel it in the writing.

“I . . . I just want you to know that you shouldn’t do anything crazy like run into a burning building to rescue a cat. I might miss you if something happened and you didn’t make it back out.”

Yes,” I repeat against his lips, smiling. “Maybe romance movies aren’t so stupid after all,”
