Release Date : January 29th 2019

Gia Gallo is officially in bridesmaid hell. Stranded in New York with her best friend’s wedding dress, Gia has six days to make it to Florida in time for the ceremony. And oh-so-charming best man Bennett Buchanan has taken the last available rental car. Looks like she’s in for one long road trip with the sexiest – and most irritating – Southern gentleman she’s ever met…

Bennett’s pretty sure that if there was ever a woman to break his “no flings” rule, Gia would be it. Sure, she’s stubborn. She’s also funny, smart, and the attraction between them is getting hotter with every state line they cross. While Bennett doesn’t do casual, Gia doesn’t do “relationships.” But if they break the rules, this unlikely pair might discover that their impromptu road trip could turn out to be the best ride of their lives.

[I received a digital arc for an honest review]

Three Little Words is the third book in Jenny Hale’s Brides Behaving Badly series. It can be read as a standalone, without reading the first two because that’s exactly what I did and I thoroughly enjoyed.

When anti commitment Gia and relationships only Bennett find themselves stuck in a car together as they road trip from NY to FL for their friends wedding, their physical reaction to each other make things complicated. The both feel an undeniable pull to the other, and seem to know exactly the right things to do to ease any situation for each other. After sharing secrets and healing old wounds, it isn’t long before Bennett is ready to break his rules and Gia is hesitant for their journey to be over. While Bennett is accepting of his new feelings towards Gia, it is a lot harder for her to accept what her heart wants.

I was instantly smitten with Bennett, from his kind heart to his tortured past. A man who puts his heart and soul into his work and wants to provide for those less fortunate than himself. Then we have Gia, and for someone who was so anti relationships, she had a whole mess of emotions going on inside her head. I felt awful for her inability to see her self-worth and that she was so much more than a pretty face. When she wasn’t covering her feelings with attitude, she was a lot of fun and it was great to see Bennett bring out that side of her. The story only takes place over a week but the connection between them didn’t feel forced or rushed and I loved that about it. Gia and Bennett went from tolerating each other to friends then more and it just felt right.

Three Little Words is my very first Jenny Holiday novel and I wil never pass by her books in the future without stopping and picking it up! A great story for any romance lover, I highly recommend it.

” “Oh my God!” Yep. Oh my God—at least when it came from Gia— had officially become his favorite phrase.”

” Good Gia and Bad Gia were equally adamant. Whether it was irrational anger or silly joy— or the peak of sexual pleasure— he was starting to understand that Gia, when she was in, was all in.”
