Fixing Him by Miranda Elaine _ Book Review

Amazon | Goodreads

One summer.
Three months.
Ninety days spent learning every inch of Sam Matthews’ body.
We agreed to no strings when our time was up.
We promised we could both handle this.
I lied.

I never expected to fall for this man or this town.
This was just supposed to be a stop on the way to starting my real life.
But now, time is up and everything feels wrong.

He says I’m too young.
He says I’m too innocent.
He says he’s not the type to settle down.

He’s fixing my newly inherited home.
Now, I’m fixing his frame of mind.

[I received a copy from the author for an honest review]

This is my first Miranda Elaine novel and it will not be my last. I adored Fixing Him, it’s story line, writing and all its characters.

Recently out of collage, Montana, decides to fix up her late grandfathers house on the lake before getting a job and settling down. She has lived a nomadic life style since she was a child, moving from place to place and loving every moment of it. she doesn’t plan to stay past the summer, just long enough to fix up the house and move on. Montana didn’t plan on the sexy construction worker Sam but since she doesn’t plan on sticking around, and he only does one nighters she doesn’t see the harm in having some fun. Sam has too many responsibilities to commit to a relationship and thinks their ten-year age gap has them at different points in their lives. Sam fights the attraction at first but it isn’t long till they give into their urges. Yet what starts out as fun and a way to blow off steam turns into something more, they both dread the summer coming to an end.

I loved all the characters in Fixing Him! Montana was such a sweet heart, a little crazy and totally down to earth. Sam was sexy, caring and utterly swoon worthy. Together they were fun and the sexual chemistry was perfect. All the supporting characters were also fantastic. Sam’s friends, his dad, Montana’s brother, and don’t forget adorable little piggy Kermie!

Fixing Him is a great summer romance that has a fun and steamy story line. I can’t wait to read more Miranda Elaine books in the future.

“Samuel Matthews, if you don’t f*ck me until my legs give out right now, I’ll never forgive you. You can’t just leave a girl hovering on the edge like this.”

“He’s ravenous and I’m a buffet made just for him. It’s dirty and naughty and absolutely amazing. There’s an intense sense of urgency, but at the same time I don’t think we could stop if we wanted to. “
