Until December brings us the story of Gareth Black and December Mayson. Both feel an instant connection the first time they meet. After December plays hot and cold at first, Gareth isn’t sure pursuing her is worth it. As a single dad with two boys and working two jobs, he doesn’t have the time or energy to play games. When fate keeps throwing them in each others paths he decides he can’t ignore the connection anymore and doesn’t want to. However, their relationship has a few obstacles to overcome before they can get their happily ever after.
As always the characters Aurora Rose Reynolds has created are fantastic. Gareth is the large muscled tattooed alpha male of fantasies, and he’s made even better by being an amazing father to his two boys. He works hard to take care of them, teach them right, and make sure they are happy. December is his perfect match. She is smart, kind and has a way with children. Their day to day conversations and interactions are enjoyable and the passion between them is steamy. The boys are wonderful and will pull at your heart strings.

Story wise Until December is a wonderful insta love romance. It’s full of sweet family moments and passionate intimacy. Yet, I was a little underwhelmed with the conflict in the story as a whole. It felt like what drama there was, was handled level-headedly by both December and Gareth. In the end I was just looking for a little something more.
Until December is a perfect addition to Aurora Rose Reynolds Until Her/Him series. I’m already looking forward to the next book in the series.
