25 Reasons to Hate Christmas and Cowboys is hands down one of the most adorable Christmas books I have read in a while. I completely devoured it in one sitting and enjoyed every second.

Isabel hates Christmas because for the past 25 years of her life she has had one bad experience after another that stuck with her and has turned her into a grinch. However, her work takes her from Australia to Wyoming for work, so she has to endure Christmas trimmings and ice-cold snow. She meets her opposite in a handsome cowboy named Johnny who loves Christmas and is determined to convert her. He spends the few weeks leading up to Christmas pulling out all the stops and replacing all her negative holiday memories with positive ones.
“Am I winning you over, Isabel?“ His voice was deeper, gruffer than I’d heard it yet.
I can honestly say that I feel hard and fast for charming Johnny. He was such an absolute sweetheart, adorable, and flirty. He comes up with the most heartfelt ideas for Isabel from bringing the beach to her in the middle of the winter to hot chocolate and snuggles under the stars. Isabel may be grumpy, but she is a kind-hearted and lives in the moment when she’s with Johnny. They have an instant connection when they meet but I love how Johnny wanted to take the physical between them slow. Right from the start Isabel was his end goal no matter how little time they would have together.
