Power Surge is the 4th book in Kennedy L. Mitchell’s Power Pay series. This series has to be read in order and if you haven’t started it I suggest you go ahead and one click book one, Power Play.

In this installment Randi finds herself with so much more on her plate to juggle than when she was VP. It seems like every day brings a new problem, but she’s strong as f*ck and handles it like a boss. While Randi is treading water, our man Trey seems to be sinking. He is mentally and physically suffering from the events that ended the last book. It takes him a good chunk of the book before he wakes up and gets his act together. No matter what though Trey is in Randi’s corner and will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. In this book I got all the one on one Trey and Randi time that I was missing from the last one in abundance. God every time they get together it seems to be hotter than the last and it never ever lacks passion and intensity.

The secondary characters continue to be a fantastic addition to this series. From Randi’s daughter Taeler to the Tank and the rest of the team they add something special to each book. There’s also a new character introduced in this one that even though all your instincts and the writing tell you not to trust him, he totally grew on me 🙂
Power Surge is another non-stop suspense, action and romance ride. Kennedy L Mitchell end each one with a cliffhanger or revelation and even though I know it’s coming I’m never fully prepared. This one was AAHHHH!! and I need the final book immediately lol
